Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2026

The short version

This site does not use cookies. It does not track you across websites. There are no ads, no login, no forms collecting your email. I use privacy-friendly analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. That's it.

Analytics

I use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and is compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR out of the box.

What Plausible collects: page URL, referrer, browser, operating system, device type, and country. All of this is aggregated and anonymous. I cannot identify individual visitors.

Bot detection

The site runs a lightweight client-side check on page load to distinguish real browsers from automated scrapers. This collects technical properties: screen size, timezone, connection type, whether you're in a webview, and touch capability. None of this is personal data. It's used to detect bots, not to profile visitors.

Third-party services

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts. Google may log your IP address when serving font files. See Google Fonts privacy FAQ.

No other third-party services are used. No ad networks, no social media trackers, no CDN analytics.

Your rights (GDPR)

I'm based in Belgium, so GDPR applies. Since I don't collect personal data, there's not much to exercise rights over, but you still have the right to ask. You can reach me at sam@dropbars.be for any privacy-related question.

Changes

If this policy changes, I'll update the date at the top. No email notifications because, well, I don't have your email.
